The International Family Support Organization (IFSO) is composed of volunteers from the River Region who work to foster international relations and build lasting partnerships. IFSO provides support to the international family members of officers who are attending courses at Air University at Maxwell Air Force Base.

IFSO strives to establish meaningful connections through several programs

• International Family Orientation Program (IFOP) sessions

• Family Summer Activities

• International Dependents' English Course (IDEC) - Beginner English Course 

• Trips and tours to expose our international partners to American institutions and our way of life

• Year-long social activities to make our visitors feel welcome and to help establish a strong social foundation
